The Venus Cafe restaurant at Blackpool Sands has been offering good simple food at Blackpool for several years, with a focus on products from local producers. There is an evening menu in the dining area, offering excellent value (try the whole crap!), but with the advantage of allowing the kids to enjoy the sea between courses! It should be mentioned that Blackpool regularly wins awards as one of the cleanest beaches in the whole country.
