Walking for health

It’s no secret that there are many pleasant and/or challenging walks along the coast of South Devon (see Devon Coast Path); indeed, there is a wealth of resources online to help visitors make the most of the walking opportunities in Devon, such as Walking in Devon and in particular the “pushchair-friendly walks” (I wish that had been available when we still used a pushchair!). If you’re interested in natural history, there are walks set up by Devon Wildlife Trust

Of course, not everyone wants to walk alone, and I recently noticed the Walking For Health organisation who organise group walks from towns around the area, at various levels of difficulty. Their current program can be found here.
